Tracing your family history when oceans separate you from your ancestral homeland can be a difficult task without professional help.  - SCOTTISH FAMILY TRACE was founded to help you in the task of discovering your roots.

Based in the ancient City of Stirling - right in the centre of Scotland - we are ideally placed to search for the records of those ancestors and present day relatives which you know are there but which you are unable to locate from your present base.

We can look for either full branches of your family tree or persons whom you cannot find.  We can even research your origins from your immediate family backwards. We can trace birthparents if you are an adoptee. We can contact your birthparents on your behalf by letter and act as go-between until physical contact can be established.
